The Summer 2019 Chemical Analysis Sessions

FOR RHODE ISLAND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The University of Rhode Island Chemistry Department will sponsor two special training sessions again this summer. Each two-week session is open to Rhode Island high school students with at least one year of chemistry. The program includes hands-on experience with the tools of chemical analysis such as gas and liquid chromatographs, thermal analysis equipment, infrared/ultra-violet/visible spectrometers and mass spectrometers.

SESSION 1: 8-19 July 2019. This session has been filled.

SESSION 2: 22 July – 2 August 2019, M-F, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

All sessions take place at URI’s Richard E. Beaupre Center for Chemical and Forensic Sciences, 140 Flagg Road, Kingston, RI 02881
