The Summer 2019 Chemical Analysis Sessions
FOR RHODE ISLAND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
The University of Rhode Island Chemistry Department will sponsor two special training sessions again this summer. Each two-week session is open to Rhode Island high school students with at least one year of chemistry. The program includes hands-on experience with the tools of chemical analysis such as gas and liquid chromatographs, thermal analysis equipment, infrared/ultra-violet/visible spectrometers and mass spectrometers.
SESSION 1: 8-19 July 2019. This session has been filled.
SESSION 2: 22 July – 2 August 2019, M-F, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
All sessions take place at URI’s Richard E. Beaupre Center for Chemical and Forensic Sciences, 140 Flagg Road, Kingston, RI 02881
Visitors to the Richard E. Beaupre Center for Chemical and Forensic Sciences: Please stop at the URI Welcome Center (formerly the URI Visitor Center), 45 Upper College Road, to obtain a parking pass before proceeding to The Beaupre Center.
