Safety Training

1. Write down all of the following information on the whiteboard: your name, your email, your office hours, class code and section number, any additional information you may find useful for the students to know.
2. Discuss use of safety shower and eyewash stations.
3. Conduct evacuation drill.
4. Have students fill out compliance form. Please ensure that each student uses blue or black ink ONLY, has written their name at the top of both sides of the form, initialed every box (No check marks), have signed at the bottom of both sides of the form. If the student is making up their safety training or is on a lab's waitlist, please indicate this on the top of the form.
5. Give students the pink medical safety forms to take home and fill out.
6. Go over the course syllabus and lab policies.
7. Direct students to complete their Online Lab Safety Module, which can be found on the Stockroom website.
8. Proceed with drawer check-in only for students on the class roster, other students must leave at this time
