Using Thermodynamic Values

Everything we have studied about equilibrium and the extent of chemical reactivity is based in thermodynamics. This means that we can use ΔH°, ΔS°, and ΔG° to answer a variety of questions.

Find the molar solubility of Fe(OH)3 in water at 25 °C.

Which is the stronger base: solid sodium hydroxide or solid sodium hydride (NaH)?

What is the pH of a neutral solution at physiological temperature, 37 °C?
