Research interests:

We are initiating an exciting research program in supramolecular organic chemistry. There are two main projects currently underway in our group:

Dissymmetric Organic Macrocycles:

The synthesis of a variety of electronically dissymetric organic macrocycles will be explored and optimized. These macrocycles, many of which will be fluorescent, will be utilized for several applications, such as organocatalysis, fluorescent sensing, self-assembly, and chiral recognition.

Chiral Polyamines:

A variety of chiral polyamines will be synthesized, characterized, and utilized for the intracellular delivery of DNA and siRNA.
